Billy Graham’s grandson, Will Graham, is an anointed evangelist. He has committed to visiting Australia annually to share the gospel in crusade events in regional centres. Last year he ministered with great impact in Moree, Gunnedah and Tamworth. This year he will be ministering in Orange, Bathurst and Lithgow. These crusades are known as ‘REALITY’ events.
The proclamation of the Gospel by Will Graham is the most publicly visible part of a ‘REALITY’ event but it is important to note that for the three months preceding an event, we train members of participating churches how to share their faith in Christ through the ‘Christian Life and Witness’ course, and encourage them to pray for the salvation of their friends and family using ‘Operation Andrew’. Very often this brings new life into participating churches and also equips Christians with skills they use for the rest of their lives.
William Franklin Graham IV (Bio)
William Franklin Graham IV (Will) is the third generation of Grahams to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ under the banner of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA). Will is the grandson of Billy Graham and the oldest son of Franklin Graham.
Will’s first crusade-style event – which he calls Celebrations – took place in 2006 in Leduc, Canada. His first Celebration on U.S. soil came later that year in Gastonia, N.C. Since then, he has also held evangelistic outreaches in several states and provinces.
In 2011, Will held multi-day outreaches in the United States, the United Kingdom, the Philippines and Kenya. In 2012, he will speak in five countries across four different continents, including the United States, Canada, India, Australia and Thailand.
“I’m not trying to be the next Billy Graham; I’m just Will Graham,” says the ordained minister. “I have a burden in my heart to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. If that’s to an arena full of people or one person on the street, I will do whatever God is calling me to do.”
Will also serves BGEA as executive director of the Billy Graham Training Center at The Cove in Asheville, N.C. The Cove offers multi-day seminars on a variety of Christian subjects and features nationally-recognized speakers.
Will graduated from Liberty University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Religion and in 2001 graduated from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity degree.
Will and his wife, Kendra, have two daughters, Christine Jane (CJ) and Rachel Austin, and a son, William Franklin Graham V (Quinn).
